Chianti Classico Wine Tour
For over three hundred years, Chianti Classico has been synonymous with gorgeous vineyards, beautiful wineries, and sumptuous wine. If you love good red wines, this is a tour that you should not miss. Both the landscape and the wines are known and appreciated at international levels.
The tour begins in the morning from your lodgings. We will drive you in one of our comfortable vehicles to a quintessentially Tuscan area. You will be given a guided tour in English, you will see medieval towns and castles, and you will visit some of the best-known wineries. You will also have the opportunity to meet smaller producers, who make up for their small production numbers by crafting superb quality wines with great passion. The owners of these wineries will personally accompany you through the vineyards so you can see where and how Sangiovese grapes grow. They will reveal pearls of country wisdom, tell you about the difficulties of working the land, and share stories of what it is like to produce a wine that graces tables around the world.
This tour is special because it allows you to discover smaller, niche producers. However, on request, we can easily take you to the better-known historic wineries. Lunch at a winery or in a small osteria is a must – Chianti wines are meant to be enjoyed with the delicious dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Wine and food will delight both your palate and heart.
